We’re excited to let you know that this winter, our California Sherpa Association Vice President,
Mr. Ang Dorjee Sherpa, who is a certified ski instructor, will be offering
free ski lessons for children ages 4 and up, as well as for adults.

• Limited spots (first come, first serve)
• One trip per person
• Lessons will be held over two weekends during the winter season (join one weekend or both)
• Once we know participant interest and snow conditions are optimal for children, we’ll finalize the dates and prices

The California Sherpa Association will organize and coordinate the food and lodging, but each participant will be responsible
for paying their own share. If affordability is an issue for any kids, CSA will help cover the difference for
one trip for minors only.

We recommend that parents of younger children accompany them on the trip. For older kids, we’ll arrange volunteers or chaperones if needed.
If you’d like to volunteer, please contact trip participant coordinator Nimi Sherpa or direct message us (email listed below).
Liability forms must be completed by parents for kids needing a chaperone.

The California Sherpa Association (CSA) is pleased to announce our 2026 Losar Celebration.
We warmly invite you and your family to join us for an evening of culture, food, music, and community togetherness.

We want to note that this date was chosen because it best accommodates the working schedules of our community members,
ensuring that as many people as possible can attend and celebrate together.

Additionally, CSA Board members will be coming around the community to distribute tickets and seek sponsorships for the event.
